rclone Drive Backup. Last updated: September 12, 2026.
This OAuth client is operated by a single individual for their own personal use. It has no other users and is not offered to the public.
When authorized, the application uses the Google Drive API to read and write files in the Google Drive account of the person who authorized it. It does this only to upload backup copies of files from that person's own computer and to verify what has already been uploaded.
Nothing. The application has no server and no database. File contents and metadata move directly between the owner's computer and the owner's Google Drive account. No data is transmitted to the operator, to any third party, or to any other destination. No analytics or tracking of any kind is used.
The OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored locally in the rclone configuration file on the owner's own computer. They are not shared or transmitted elsewhere.
Because no data is collected, there is nothing retained to delete. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately invalidates the stored tokens.
Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
